PAKISTAN Freelance Journalists Association started its Independence Day celebrations by pinning Quaid-i-Azam Badge on Z.A. Suleri, senior editor of The News.

Association's President Iqbal Yousufi, along with Ibrahim Tahir, Naeem Qureshi, Mazhar Ali Adeeb, Kaukab Khan, Khalil Qureshi and Rahman Zulfi, paid rich tributes to Z.A. Suleri for his contribution in Pakistan Movement. Speaking on the occasion, Z.A. Suleri revealed when they brought out a procession in London in favour of Pakistan, the English people, observing their enthusiasm, said they would succeed one day in establishing their own homeland. He advised the youth especially the journalists to work for the solidarity of the country following the foot steps of Quaid-i-Azam.

PAKISTAN Freelance Journalists Association (PFJA) has decided to award Z.A. Suleri, venerable journalist and member of Pakistan Movement, with Quaid-i-Azam Badge. According to a statement on Saturday, the association, in its annual function on 14th, would present the badge to the nominee. Afterwards, Z.A. Suleri would deliver a lecture on "Pakistan movement with a reference to the Quaid" — PR.

LAHORE (PR) — The 46th Independence Day of Pakistan was celebrated in a prestigious manner under the auspices of the Pakistan Freelance Journalists Association (PFJA), an organization of independent journalists.

The Independence Day celebrations commenced under the leadership of the Association's President, Iqbal Yousufi, by pinning a special badge featuring a quote from Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah on the renowned Pakistan Movement activist, celebrated researcher, intellectual, author, and veteran journalist, Maulana Muhammad Ismail Zabeeh.

On this occasion, Maulana Ismail Zabeeh shared brief reflections with the Association's delegation regarding his memories of working under the leadership and companionship of the founder of Pakistan, alongside discussing his authored books and lifelong literary and journalistic pursuits. Following this, the members of the Association also pinned Independence Day badges on several senior journalists associated with the national press.
